Tane and Carys really enjoyed the break in Phillip Island. Tane really wanted to do some fishing, but Carys ended up loving it too

Sydney day 2

Donna and I were at a neuroblastoma conference the whole day, and they’d set up the room next door so that kids could hangout and do creative things. After the last speaker, Donna stayed for the discussion panel and I took the kids for a swim.

Later that night, we all went out for dinner and drinks and we had this giant 1m long pizza for all to share

There was also a 1m long Nutella desert pizza too, didn’t get a pic of that coz it got wolfed down hehe

Sydney 1st day

We flew up to Sydney for a long weekend

First thing we did was wander down to Sydney’s most famous assets. We had to figure out how to get there, was just a bit too far for the kids to walk. Long story short we got our bus ticket and off to the opera house

Was a beautiful day, so we stopped for a quick drink under the opera house with a great view of the bridge

After that we went for a walk through the gardens which were beautiful and had a good look at the harbour

Tane saw a battle ship just around the bay and wanted to go take a look so we went for what we thought would be a little jog! Was much further than it looked

Tane was so excited to see the battle ships I think that made his day!!
After that we all fancied a bit of seafood so we set off to the rocks and found an awesome little restaurant
First day, smiles all around
