I decided it was time she learned to ride her bike properly, so told her i was taking off her training wheels. She didn’t like that idea at first but i assured her I’d keep her safe. After a couple of lessons, this is the third time we went out.

When we got home that night, we found a little friend in our bathroom, waiting for us to turn on the light to attract the bugs, so he could settle down and have dinner….

Thomas at Puffing Billy

A friend of Carys’s had a birthday party up in the Dandenongs. Thomas was also visiting puffing billy so we watched a show and had a ride. Even birty bus was there too, so we also had a ride with him.

Heidi Gallery

We went for lunch up at the Heidi Gallery.

i had the most awesome Wagyu Beef Burger, so juicy and tender. The kids had a really nice cheeseburger, and donna had something that resembled a western version of a Char Siu Bau, strange but nice.
Then after we enjoyed looking in the garden at all the fresh produce they grow there, and off for a walk around the park area.

Fathers Day Jells Park

We went out for Fathers day to Jells park, about 25mins from our place. it’s nice there coz it’s got a huge play area with swings, tunnel, slides and all sorts.
We took a picnic, and after that walked down to the lake to have a look at the ducks.

Maroondah Reservoir

We spent a weekend up in the Yarra Valley with Frank and Angeline.

our first outing was to go and see the reservoir and have a bit of a walk in the crisp fresh air. it was so peaceful and beautiful.
